I'VE NEVER BEEN SO GLAD TO SEE THE LAST YEAR PAST AND A NEW YEAR ROLL IN.
This was a really tough year for me but it is all behind me now. Things got better the later part of the year but I'm so lucky to have great friends and family help support me along the way. A lot has changed since my birthday...life means so much more. This winter, I learned of sad and disheartening news of illnesses that had entered the lives of close friends and family of mine. It ranged from liver failures to cancer. It really puts life in perspective and is a reality check towards what is really important in life. It made me appreciate so much more the limited time we have with our parents and how it is often easy to take that for granted. I spent most of my break with the my family this Christmas.
It felt really good coming back after only being away from home for so long. I saw a lot of old high school friends that I hadn't seen in so long. One of my good friends is getting married in Hawaii next year...we are all growing up so quickly...before you know it I will be attending my hs friend's baby showers...I'm going to love the next few years of my life.
I began a business venture with a good friend of mine this winter and we are beginning to embark on a relationship that I hope will lead to a very successful partnership. In the coming months if all goes well and things go as planned, I should be getting an investment and sponsorships of just over $30,000 but next fall. I really hope this goes well and I will be quite busy with this opportunity this summer. Until then, I have a lot of books to read and planning to do but I'm excited to hear that investors are interested in my ideas and are taking me seriously. It is a great feeling to be respected from people much older than you.
I got everything I wanted for Christmas this year and none of them were materialistic goods. I wished and wished and wished for it and I got it......it is the greatest feeling in the world. On top of that, I got some pretty cool gifts for Xmas from friends and family. I got a couple of new suits, a few blazers, my first two pairs of lucky jeans (thanks to their awesome sale), lots of alcohol, the OC season, more clothes, and a nice spiffy diesel watch.
